"Everyone makes mistakes." That's what we keep telling ourselves when examining this card under magnification and perfect lighting. You would think the stringent grading boys at SGC must have seen something to drop this grade to a VG-EX 4, however we've had the most savvy collectors and young-eyed graders look at it and no justification is found. The tougher of the two 1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig's is offered here in absolute stunning color, excellent centering, corners consistent with EX-MT cards and a bright white reverse. If you get a chance to examine this card for yourself, it will be well worth your time, as you should see that this may just be an undergraded mistake by the trusted third party fellas from Jersey.
