The difficulty in grading cards that are more than a century old is that over that lengthy period some malfeasance will befall the card. The offered six pack of 1887 N172 Old Judge cards each have been graded SGC 20 with most having a much nicer presentation. The players include Larry Twitchell, Art Whitney, Bill Vinton, Joseph Mulvey, Bob Caruthers and George Gore. Four of the six cards have beautiful fronts with crystal clear images but mild back damage relegates these cards to their current grade. Each card, in its own right, is a testament to time and will fit nicely in 19th Century collections.
