Distributed by the Novelty Cutlery Company of Canton, Ohio between 1907-1909, the self-titled PC805 postcard series contains twenty-six of the greatest stars from the pre-war era. This 1907-1909 Novelty Cutlery Ed Walsh postcard is graded a “60” by SGC. Appearing at the apex of the technical grade, the postcard is framed by an intricate silver border and reveals only slight corner touches. The reverse is crystal clean and has endured the century quite well. This crease-free example is an attractive proposition for the Hall of Fame collector or followers of the spitballing legend.
