The first Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran fight was a clash of monumental proportions. Roberto Manos de Piedra Duran defeated Leonard to become the WBC Welterweight Champion of the World, winning by one round on two of the judges cards, and two rounds on the final judges card. Here we have a beautiful full ticket from this championship prizefight held on June 20, 1980 in Montreal. Deemed a GEM MT 10 by PSA, the 6-1/2 x 3-1/4” ticket displays magnificently with portraits of both fighters seen on either side. A truly impressive piece of pugilistic history simply waiting to be proudly displayed.
