Throughout history, tandems in countless arenas have wrested our attention, providing entertainment and thrills to keep us coming back for more. In the sporting world, it's doubtful that any pairing is revered more than Ruth and Gehrig. The offered baseball is autographed by that heroic duo. The medium is an unofficial "Grayco - Junior National League" example with evidence of handling (grade "5-6"). In it's customary occupancy of the sweet spot, the signature of Babe Ruth is accented by quotation marks at both ends of "Babe," thus dating it to sometime before 1928. The "B" has been enhanced in an unknown hand and lesser strength at the beginning of the surname warrant's an overall assessment of ("3").
