With the world still in utter shock over what many deem the biggest upset in football history, the 1969 New York Mets trumped the above-mentioned feat by staging a most improbable upset of their own. Mirroring the Jets' accomplishment, it was at the expense of a highly touted Baltimore team. Encapsulated and Graded EX-MT-6 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Baltimore's hallowed Memorial Stadium for the opener of that October spectacle. Measuring 7-1/2 x 2-1/2", the cream-colored "Mezzanine Box" voucher showcases the host's cartoon bird logo and MLB silhouette "100th Anniversary" logo, as well as printed seating/event legends. The clean reverse has printed rain check and legal details. As was expected, the O's prevailed that day as Mike Cuellar bested mound opponent Tom Seaver. What ensued, however, was all New York. This is one of nine examples graded by PSA and remains quite attractive with sharp edges and strong perforations.
