Graded 50 VG-EX 4 by SGC. A youthful representation of the "Georgia Peach" is "ripe for the picking" with the offered 1907-09 H.M. Taylor Ty Cobb postcard. This horizontal black-and-white collectible escaped the grasp of both the turn-of-the-century Tiger fan and the post office, making it an incredibly scarce keepsake. Mild peripheral wear, slightly askew top-to-bottom centering and an inconsequential surface thumbprint account for the technical grade. Other than a trace of slight discoloration, the blank reverse is clean. The highest graded of seven such examples judged by New Jersey-based service.
