By his third full season in New York, Babe Ruth was already such a sensation that the American Caramel Company of Pennsylvania began printing tribute cards to him. The subjects ranged from the “Bambino” appearing with a bird to the offered 1922 E121 American Caramel Babe Ruth photo-montage. Graded VG 3 by PSA, this mid-grade "Series of 120" specimen concedes a pair of spider creases along with slightly askew centering and soft corners. This early Ruth/Yankees card is otherwise clean and a fine addition to any "Class of 1936" gathering.
