The offered 1953-1954 Briggs Meat uncut panel of Tom Umphlett and Angel Scull measures approximately 4 x 5-1/4” and displays moderate wear including clipped corners, minor spider creasing throughout, reverse grease stains and moderate scuffing. The stern Umphlett presents (VG) with moderate creasing, while Scull presents (VG) with mild creasing and surface imperfections. The blank reverse displays multiple minor creases, most of which do not protrude onto the front. Both the front and reverse have a slight wax coating that has helped protect this scarce specimen from the elements throughout the years. For Senators or regional fans, this formidable piece with blazing red colors is an exceptional accompaniment to any collection.
