Graded NM 7 by PSA. On Independence Day 1919, Jack Dempsey pulverized defending champion Jess Willard in what is often considered the most lopsided defeat in a heavyweight championship bout. This full ticket from the Toledo Athletic Club accomplished what Willard failed to do, survive the onslaught of the “Manassa Mauler.” As one of three at the grading tier with none better, this 91-year-old admittance pass displays a solid perimeter along with crisp perforations. An impressive addition to the collection of any pugilist historian.
