Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA. Truly a one-of-a-kind keepsake, this ticket stub was issued to one of 31,667 spectators at Washington's Griffith Stadium on October 10, 1924. The significant happening, of course, was the host Senators' dramatic 12-inning triumph to secure their first and only World Series crown. Of note, Walter Johnson pitched the final three innings to earn the win for the host team. The tan-colored voucher features printed seating and event legends, with Clark Griffith's facsimile signature just to the right of the telling "GAME 7" identifier. Appealing for the aforementioned reasons, this example is all the more alluring in that its middle portion remains firmly secured by unbroken perforation. The item presents beautifully, though two very small instances of paper loss on the reverse account for the technical assessment.
