The 1968 Topps 3-D test issue turned new ground in the trading card industry by creating a visual illusion of space in relation to the subject. More importantly, this series was purportedly released at only a handful of stores in the Brooklyn area. The pairing of innovation and scarcity makes the offered near set of (10/12) cards a monumental acquisition for the set enthusiast. Included are PSA 8: (3 cards) with Fairly (Dugout Variation), Lonborg, Stottlemyre; PSA 7: (4 cards) with Maloney (Dugout Variation), Perez, Powell, B. Robinson; PSA 6: Swoboda; PSA 5: Flood and PSA 4: W. Davis. Missing only Clemente and Staub for completion.
