Issued to one of 19,401 awe-struck spectators in the Bronx, this September 26, 1961 Yankee Stadium ticket stub granted its bearer a vantage point to view Roger Maris’ 60th home run sail deep into the right field stands and tie Babe Ruth’s sacred single-season standard. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, the voucher features the Yankees’ “top hat” logo and printed seating/event legends. The front presents nicely, though there is handwriting and paper loss (from previous mounting) on the reverse.
