During the 1969 season, the Philadelphia Phillies released their “greatest team” list of players and honored them with a ceremony at Connie Mack Stadium. Of the ten players voted to this all-time team, (9) of them were living and given a 37-1/2 x 20” print with their names on a brass placard on the bottom center of the frame. Offered is the framed relic presented to Andy Seminick - the catcher on the team of greats. The piece is in excellent condition with the frame showing minor wear from being displayed over the past 40 years. The print shows headshot images of each player over their respective positions on the field at Connie Mack Stadium. Accompanying the framed piece are (3) 8x10 photographs of the (9) men during the ceremony, including Seminick (kneeling, front right), Ashburn, Roberts, Ennis and Short. This unique artifact is an amazing piece of Phillies history ready for immediate display.
