Eight years to the date of laying his first “bookend,” Pittsburgh Pirates slugger Willie Stargell broke Oriole hearts again, scoring the winning run in Game 7 of the 1979 World Series to make winners of the Bucs just as he had done in 1971. Encapsulated and Graded NM 7 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium for that decisive and climactic 1979 contest.
