Presented is a full unused ticket from one of the most miraculous events in baseball annals: the 1969 World Series. Encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA, this colorful voucher features “Mr. Met” and the club’s skyline-themed logos (arguably the last decorations fans thought would ever adorn a Fall Classic ticket). This particular admission pass was issued for Game 3 (October 14) at Shea Stadium. The front has the aforementioned designs, as well as printed seating and event legends and the facsimile signature of Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. The clean reverse is home to rain check details and legal disclaimers. Mets pitchers Gary Gentry and Nolan Ryan blanked the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles that afternoon. For Ryan, it was to be his first and only career World Series appearance.
