This 1903 E107 Type 1 collectible portrays Socks Seybold as the reigning American League home run champion, as his 16 circuit clouts in 1902 were not to be topped in the Junior Circuit until 1919, when a legend named “Ruth” all but reinvented the home run. Encapsulated and Graded FR 1.5 by PSA, this well-centered rarity in the lone specimen at its tier with only one graded higher. Rounded corners and mounting remnants on the reverse combine to account for the technical assessment.
