In a matchup of Hall of Fame southpaws, Whitey Ford got the better of counterpart Warren Spahn in the opener of the 1957 World Series, prevailing 3-1. Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Yankee Stadium for that Fall Classic opener. Decorated with the hosts’ “top hat” logo and a printed seating legend, this “Lower Stand” voucher is the lone example at its tier with none graded higher. Bright colors, sharp edges and a clean reverse are consistent with the technical appraisal.
