In terms of “must have” Fall Classic tickets, there are 16 issued for games in which Mickey Mantle homered and only one from a perfect mound performance. This 1956 World Series stub qualifies on both counts. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this “Lower Stand” voucher was issued on October 8 at Yankee Stadium for Don Larsen’s pitching gem. With printed seating/event legends and the hosts’ “top hat” logo, the Bronx artifact has reverse paper loss, though the obverse presents nicer than the technical assessment.
