From the short-lived return to a “best of nine” format, the 1920 World Series failed to last “the distance” as Cleveland pitching muzzled the Brooklyn hitters to just two runs over the final 43 innings. Issued at League Park for the Game 7 clincher, this ticket stub is a decidedly scarce October relic. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this “Upper Deck Box Seat” voucher features Tribe president James Dunn’s facsimile signature and printed seating/event details whose “GAME 4” identifier signifies the host Indians’ fourth home game (hence, Game 7 of the overall series). One of only 27,525 tickets issued that day (with far fewer survivors), this is one of only three PSA graded specimens.
