In what ultimately would prove Ted Williams’ only shot at a World Series title, the 1946 installment was comprised of well-pitched contests with the exception of the Game 4 tilt in which the Cardinals pummeled six Boston hurlers for 20 hits. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this October 10, 1946 full Fenway Park ticket is one of only six graded. With printed seating/event details and the facsimile signature of BoSox president Thomas Yawkey, the voucher presents nicely, though adhesive residue on the reverse accounts for the technical grade.
