Breaking a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning, Hall of Famer and MVP runner-up KiKi Cuyler’s 2-run homer powered the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 3-2 win over the Washington Senators in Game 2 of the 1925 World Series, a showdown in which the Bucs were to erase a three games-to-one deficit. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at Forbes Field for that October 8 contest. Featuring printed seating/event details, this “Center Field Bleacher” voucher is one of only two graded examples. The blank back collectible also bears the name of legendary Commissioner K.M. Landis.
