While the 1909-11 T206 White Borders Ty Cobb (Red Portrait) pose is a fairly common find in the tobacco card collecting hobby, locating examples with scarce backs such as the offered Carolina Brights advertisement is quite a feat. Graded 20 Fair 1.5 by SGC, only five 1909-11 T206 White Border Ty Cobb (Red Portrait) poses have been confirmed with a Carolina Brights Back by the third-party authenticator with only one judged above the assigned tier. The familiar deadpan of the "Class of 1936" Hall of Fame inductee is barely impacted by a vertical crease which spans the length of the card. Moderate corner and edge wear is offset by radiant obverse colors and intricate uniform detailing. The all-important advertising back is pronounced with bold, black typeface. According to conducted research, the Carolina Brights reverse ranks eleventh among the 39 T206 White Border advertising backs in scarcity. Tremendous upside appeal with this century-old "Georgia Peach"!
