Hampered by an arthritic elbow, 30-year-old Sandy Koufax took the hill for the last time on October 6, 1966. Encapsulated and Graded NM-MT 8, this Dodger Stadium ticket stub was issued for Koufax’ swan song. The lone example at its tier with none graded higher, this colorful voucher features printed seating/event details, sharp corners and a clean reverse. Koufax, incidentally, was bested that day by 20-year-old Jim Palmer, who would go on to three Cy Young laurels of his own and become the only pitcher to win World Series contests in three different decades.
