Cruising to what appeared would be their second World Series title in four years, the 1985 St. Louis Cardinals encountered a road block named Don Denkinger. From there, Jack Clark missed a routine pop fly, Joaquin Andujar had a meltdown, and the decisive Game 7 was anything but dramatic. Encapsulated and Graded MINT 9 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Kansas City’s Royals Stadium for the first and only championship triumph in team history.
