Attempting to become the first “non-Yankee” installment to win back-to-back Fall Classic titles since the 1929-1930 Philadelphia Athletics, the 1958 Milwaukee Braves appeared primed to do just that, taking a commanding three games-to-one advantage before the Yankees (who else?) staved off elimination in Games 5 and 6 and prevailed, 6-2 in Game 7 to deny the Midwestern darlings. Encapsulated and Graded NM 7 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at County Stadium for that winner-take-all showdown. The colorful “Lower Grandstand” voucher features printed seating/event details, as well as “Laughing Brave” logos appropriately depicting the mascot with a crown atop his head.
