In their first World Series game since the infamous sale of Babe Ruth, the 1946 Boston Red Sox rallied with two outs in the ninth to tie it and with two outs in the 10th to secure a 3-2 triumph in the series opener at St. Louis’ Sportsman’s Park. Encapsulated and Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued for that Fall Classic opener. The lone example at its tier with none graded higher, the voucher features printed seating/event details, ornate finery and the facsimile signature of Cardinals president Sam Breadon. Gorgeous!
