On the strength of a Reggie Jackson home run, a relief win by Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers and a rare save by Catfish Hunter, the 1974 Oakland A’s downed the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the first-ever “all-California” World Series. This full ticket was issued at Chavez Ravine for that series opener, a game that saw the host Dodgers bow despite out-hitting the A’s, 11-6 and having baserunners in eight of the nine innings. Encapsulated and Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, this voucher in one of six at its tier with only one graded higher.
