On an absolutely incredible run of seven straight complete game World Series triumphs, Hall of Famer Bob Gibson was true to the test in Game 7 of the 1968 Fall Classic. And while he did go the route for an eighth successive time, he was bested by Tigers southpaw Mickey Lolich, who emerged as the surprise hero with his third win of the series. Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium for that winner-take-all tilt.
