Setting the stage for some great pitching match-ups, the 1968 World Series was an exciting event that delivered thrills throughout seven riveting games. Presented is a 1968 WS Game 1 ticket stub. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA this stub is a fine memento of a highly anticipated match-up which pitted the Cardinals Bob Gibson and his 1.12 season ERA against the Tigers Denny McLain and his 31 wins. As noted on the flip Gibson racked up an inspiring 17Ks en route to a 4-0 complete game shutout. Also present are (2) 1968 WS Busch Stadium version programs (EX-MT, EX).
