As Pete Rose delivered the 3000th hit of his illustrious career, the amazing aspect was that he would rip an additional 1,256 safeties before he was through!. Encapsulated and Graded NM 7 (MK) by PSA, this ticket stub was issued on May 5, 1978 at Riverfront Stadium as Cincinnati’s favorite son reached the milestone against Montreal’s Steve Rogers. This is the lone specimen at its tier with none graded higher. On the reverse, a handwritten notation of “Pete Rose #3000” accounts for the qualifier. Otherwise, the crisp voucher features printed seating/event details, razor-sharp edges/corners and is every bit deserving of its lofty technical assessment.
