As accomplished as one could be by the tender age of 33, Tom Seaver entered his June 16, 1978 start with a resume that features a Rookie of the Year honor, three Cy Young Awards, a World Series ring and 210 career victories. The only thing missing? A no-hitter. Well, Seaver took care of that feat as he blanked the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-0. It marked his first and only career no-hitter, as well as his seventh win in as many outings to lower his ERA from 5.79 to 3.22.
