Nineteenth Century Baltimore Hall of Famer! Graded 60 EX 5 by SGC. The backstop for a squad known for their daring diamond antics and chicanery, Wilbert (Uncle Robbie) Robinson was the backbone for the 1894-96 Baltimore Orioles dynasty. The Class of 1945 Hall of Famer is pictured in the midst of their championship tenure on his 1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug portrait. Appearing every bit of a dapper statesman, the sharply dressed Robinson is framed by evenly touched corners, well-defined edges and a midnight black reverse. The black-and-white image is clear and unobstructed. One of only four at the grading tier with none better.
