With an aggregate 30-40 career mark to his credit, Don Larsen was given the assignment for Game 2 of the 1956 World Series and was chased after 1-2/3 innings, having yielded one hit and four walks. Summoned again three days later in the Bronx, Larsen realized the unthinkable: a perfect game. Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA, this Yankee Stadium ticket stub was issued for that historic Fall Classic battle that featured Larsen’s gem and Mickey Mantle’s eighth career World Series home run.
