Stricken for 85 long years by a mythical curse cast by the baseball gods after their ill-advised sale of Babe Ruth, the Boston Red Sox suffered repeated near-misses and unspeakable “chokes” along the way. Encapsulated and Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium for Game 4 of the 2004 World Series, a contest in which the BoSox completed a series sweep to “reverse the curse.” The colorful voucher showcases printed seating/event details, as well as 2004 World Series and St. Louis Cardinals logos.
