Representing the American League “north of the border,” the Toronto Blue Jays were hatched in 1977 and immediately took flight with a 9-5 triumph in their inaugural game. Encapsulated and Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Exhibition Stadium for the first-ever Toronto Blue Jays game, an April 7, 1977 contest against the Chicago White Sox. One of only 14 graded examples, this colorful voucher features printed seating/event details and a team logo. Braving 32-degree conditions and snow, the Toronto faithful saw hometown hero Doug Ault homer twice to offset the exploits of Richie Zisk, who homered and ripped four hits in his White Sox debut. Razor sharp edges and corners, strong perforations and an immaculate surface warrant perhaps an even higher technical grade.
