Unseating the Yankees as baseball’s juggernaut, the 1929 Philadelphia Athletics won their first of three straight American League pennants and proceeded to make short work of the Chicago Cubs in the World Series. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Chicago’s Wrigley Field for Game 2 of that Fall Classic, a contest in which Jimmie Foxx homered to help fuel a 9-3 Athletics win. The “BLEACHER” voucher has printed seating/event details and unbroken perforations.
