An unusual World Series in that the mighty Yankees were felled despite outscoring Pittsburgh by an aggregate 55-27, the 1960 Fall Classic will; forever be remembered not by disproportionate numbers, but by Bill Mazeroski’s walk-off home run. Lost in the celebration was the showdown’s lone “pitcher’s duel,” a 3-2 Pirates Game 4 triumph that evened the series at two games apiece. Encapsulated and Graded VG 3 by PSA, this full ticket was issued in the Bronx for a battle in which a Moose Skowron home run went for naught. One of two at its tier with only three graded higher, this colorful voucher features printed seating/event details and the club’s stars-and-stripes themed “top hat” logos.
