High-Grade Nineteenth Century Hall of Famer! Graded 84 NM 7 by SGC. For 14 playing seasons the mustachioed (Sir) Timothy Keefe stymied opposing batters with his knee-buckling repertoire and amassed 342 career victories. The 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter specimen depicts the Hall of Famer at the height of his prowess. This 128 year-old jewel displays four sharp corners, crisp edges, impeccable centering and a perfectly contrasted illustration. The checklist reverse escaped any pencil markings and exhibits bold printing. Of the 108 total copies adjudicated by the grading service, this relic survives as 1 of 9 at the grading level with only one better.
