Though Senators HOFer “Goose” Goslin hit his third homer of the series, the New York Giants won this game handily as noted on the flip “Giants-6, Senators-2”. Other flip notations include the date “Oct. 8” and the pitchers of record “Bentley-Nehf”, with Nehf incorrectly identified as the loser which was actually Walter Johnson. “Big Train” riders take heart with the knowledge that the legendary hurler redeemed himself with a Game 7 relief win, consecrating the crowning point of Senators history.
