The 1945 NFL Championship saw a bizarre rule affect the Washington Redskins and Sammy Baugh. Baugh threw a pass into the end zone that struck the upright and fell back to the ground, recovered by the home team (Cleveland Rams). At the time, it was ruled a safety and the Redskins lost by one point. Later, an enraged George Marshall had the rule changed in the offseason. This Upper Stand ticket stub is encapsulated and declared "Authentic" by PSA. The stub is in approximate (VG) condition with a crease in the top left corner and moderate soiling on the right edge. A solid collectible for vintage ticket enthusiasts.
