The Toledo Mud Hens have just about as long a history of baseball as one can find, as the team was founded in 1883 and has been through multiple leagues and team affiliations. This trio of items comes from the more recent history of the team and includes: 1) 1980s blue jacket: Sport King specimen with light wear. The button down collectible has a "Toledo Mud Hens" logo on the left breast and the inside collar is decorated with a few Sharpie notations; 2) 1990s Toledo Mud Hens hat: New Era size 7-3/8 cap with red "T Hen" logo against a blue background. Light to moderate wear; 3) 2000s Toledo Mud Hens hat: New Era size 7-3/8 cap with "yellow hen" logo against a red background. Light wear. Huggins and Scott is allowing the winning bidder 45 days from the date when payment is received to have the item independently authenticated. Payment must, however, be made within two weeks from the end of the auction. Huggins and Scott is not responsible for any authentication fees or shipping charges incurred by the winning bidder but H&S will refund the hammer price and buyer"s premium if the item does not pass authentication with a reputable third party company.
