An intriguing vintage pencil notation on the reverse in an unidentified hand alludes to a trade among collectors: "gave him Ed. Walsh / From Byron"s collections." Vance was elected to HOF in 1955 and died in 1961. This item has a reserve (estimated value $2,000-$3,000).
