Back in the October spotlight for the first time since leaving Harlem, the San Francisco Giants faced their familiar (but now distant) rivals from the Bronx. And while the Giants logged a higher cumulative team batting average (.226 to .199), a lower team ERA and also hit more home runs, triples and doubles than their pinstriped foes, they were felled in seven games. This full ticket was issued for the opener of that Fall Classic. Encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA, the voucher hails from the first-ever postseason game at Candlestick Park and features printed seating/event details, as well as unbroken perforations. The lone specimen at its tier, this is a rare and well-kept survivor from a dramatic World Series!
