According to Charles Evers" notes, he obtained this autograph at Frank Frisch"s home in the winter of 1956—which was 9 years after Frisch"s Hall of Fame induction, 11 years before he notably joined the Veterans Committee, and 17 years before his death. The creamy unofficial ball is inscribed on the sweet spot, "Lots of luck — To Charles / The Old Flash," with a large side-panel signature, "Frank Frisch."
