Gorgeous George Sisler"s career can of course be divided into pre-1923 and post-1923—either side of the sinus condition that damaged his optic nerve. Yet somehow, even though his performance dropped off considerably, Sisler still managed to bat over .300 year in and year out—including this, his final campaign of 1930.
