Graded NM 7 by PSA. Charles Bennett was a reliable nineteenth century backstop who was credited with equipment advances such as the chest protector. The Detroit Wolverine is front-and-center on the offered 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter single. This razor-sharp specimen presents exceptionally well with strong corners, creamy edges and brilliant surface colors. The unmarked reverse is clean.
