Of the millions upon millions of cards judged by PSA, only 25 total from the 1888 N321 S.F. Hess California League designation have been evaluated by the authenticator. Graded Good 2 by PSA. Offered is the only confirmed example depicting Charles Sweeney of the Stockton club. This full color artifact is well centered with evenly worn corners, a crease-free surface and shimmering surface colors. The player/uniform accents are detailed and staining near the bottom left corner does not seriously distract from the overall eye appeal. The blank reverse is clean.
