The Chicago Bulls made their first trip to the NBA Finals in 1991. This was also the first Finals appearance for their brilliant superstar Michael Jordan, coincidence.... we think not. While "Da" Bulls" came up a bucket short in Game 1 of the series, they went on to romp in the next four games, vanquishing the mighty Los Angeles Lakers in five games, to claim their first ever NBA championship. Jordan had a fine day in the first game, racking up 36 points and 12 assists, but he blew a chance to clinch the game, when he missed a jump shot with under ten seconds to play. Jordan continued to play at peak level throughout the remainder of the "91 Finals, earning his first Finals MVP award. "Jordanites" make a fine score, by claiming this 1991 NBA Finals Game 1 full ticket. Issued on site at Chicago Stadium, this ticket represents Michael Jordan"s first NBA Finals game. Two pinholes from removal of a staple and three vertical fold creases have limited this super tough ticket to a PSA rating of (FR 1.5), but otherwise it presents proudly with bold colors, sharp graphics and a clean surface. PSA"s population report lists this example as just "1/2" graded full tickets from this game, and the fact that it is an onsite issue as opposed to a Ticketron purchase, puts it well into the very rare zone. This was also the last NBA Finals for "Magic" Johnson, who posted a "triple-double" in Game 1, as noted on the PSA grading label, along with Jordan"s Finals debut being noted as well.
