This handsome example of the Phillies veteran is entirely absent of obtrusive wear by showcasing well-formed corners, creamy edges and clean front/back surfaces. Slightly errant centering hardly impacts this stalwart"s overall presentation. A superior example from the first major twentieth-century baseball card issue! One of only seven Thomas cards judged by the authenticator. Please note: Despite being checklisted as Ira Thomas, he never played for the Phillies, making his debut for the 1906 Highlanders. One Roy Thomas played for the 1903 Phillies and has a resemblance to the pictured player.
